BEE NET

BEE NET B(uilding) E(uropean) E(xport) Net(works) is a EU funded project, which aims at supporting inter-firm cooperation amongst European micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that intend to enhance their presence in the international markets and seize the opportunities of an ever-changing economic scenario.

BEE NET
is a project which will help SMEs in setting up European Business Networks (EBNs) able to create synergies, implement actions and achieve results according to joint internationalisation strategies.

Operating through EBNs, single SMEs can find solutions, exchange ideas and processes, overcome obstacles and enhance competencies.

BEE NETproject is based on client journey approach: SMEs will be supported step-by-step along the path aimed to the actual implementation of each BNs internationalization strategy. BEE NET will help SMEs to implement new European Business Networks (EBNs) based on horizontal cooperation or vertical cooperation.

BEE NET relies on strong connections of project partners (Sicindustria (IT), Barcelona Chamber of Commerce (ES), Lithuanian Innovation Center (LT) with stakeholders and Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) nodes.

The three BEE NET project partners are experts in internationalisation processes and have experiences in organisation of trade-promotion missions, advisory support, brokerage events and all related activities. They all have invested time, human resources and capital, fostering opportunities for companies that want to grow at international level.

The three Consortium partners are geographically representative (being drawn from the north, south and west the EU area) and are well connected with the other EEN members in Europe and Third Countries. All partners are focused on SME development through internationalisation and have already established strong relations with international stakeholders all over the world, which will be precious supports in all the phases of the project. BEE NET partners will work in close collaboration with four Key Stakeholders (KS): RetImpresa (IT), the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists (LT), the General Council of Chambers of Commerce of Catalonia, and the European Family Businesses (the EU federation of national associations representing long-term family owned enterprises). KSs will also compose an External Evaluation Committee (EEC) in charge of the second phase of the evaluation of European Business Network projects.
